New River Wetlands Imperial site

Visited the New River Wetlands Imperial site and caught a fantastic sunset.
Raced up the hill and got some more pics of the Imperial Valley under a sky on fire.

Calipatria

Calipatria's claim to fame is that it is "the lowest down city in the western hemisphere with the tallest flag pole in the world below sea level."  The top of the pole is actually at sea level at 184 feet!  Every Christmas it is decorated as a giant tree that can be seen for miles.
We decorated our yard too!
